We provide several collections of limited edition Giclées in two galleries. The Reproductions gallery includes limited editions of paintings John has produced over the years. The Night Photography gallery includes limited editions of photography of Canada at night that John is now working on.

John's son, Brad, a research engineer and project manager for many years with Mac-Blo Research, has decided to work with John full time on this project. Here they are examining a Giclée as it comes off one of their Epson wide format printers.

Please see the page What is Original? for an explanation of how the term "original" applies to limited edition reproductions (of paintings) and limited edition prints (of photography).

Giclée (pronounced Gee'clay) is a French term meaning to spray. In order to guarantee the quality of the finished canvases we print our own Giclées.

The new ink sets of the current wide format Giclée printers provide the ultimate fine art printing technology available today. When printed on the water resistant canvas and fine art papers we use the manufacturer and third-party testing labs report that print permanence ratings are up to 200 years for colour and 200+ years for black and white.

Each print includes a Certificate of Authenticity that describes the edition size, number of artist's proofs, year of printing, printing process, ink, type of paper, light fastness, etc.
